This is probably what the soundtrack to Grease would sound like if it was remade in to a lo-fi hipster infused musical. “Honey Eye Bee Leave Ewe” is the first single off of their newest EP FOOTBALL which dropped earlier this month.
You can stream the full EP on their bandcamp page and then purchase it for a pay what you want price.
A telephone ring breaks into explosive, gritty guitar exploding into a chorus of thundering drums and late ’70s harmonies. Responsible for the brawl is Alligator Indian, made up of Christian Church, Spooky Bubble and Mayor Prankster, which infuse punk with party spirits hailing from “the Appalachian Trail.”
Say no more, just let the good times roll. More of the band’s music on their Bandcamp as you wait for the Football EP release this September 13.

What isn’t there to love about North Carolina’s Alligator Indian? I mean their interests include “pizza, tacos, hamburgers, fries” and they are pretty damn talented too! The new track “Honey Eye Bee Leave Ewe” is up at Bandcamp and it is worth a few listens and well lots of awkward bopping will ensue in the process as well. It starts out as a phone call that you are so glad you picked up! Think like The Drums meets Sleigh Bells meets Animal Collective! If you like this one too you can download it for free over at Bandcamp!
