North Carolina trio Alligator Indian combine catchy punk melodies with echoey, fuzzy vocals, resulting in a sound that wouldn’t feel out of place on The Lost Boys soundtrack. The distortion and guitar screams in the background only further add to the dichotomy of comfort and uneasiness.
You can get a copy of the album “Football” on vinyl now via Bleeding Gold, or in 21st century format via the ubiquitous bandcamp page.
This is probably what the soundtrack to Grease would sound like if it was remade in to a lo-fi hipster infused musical. “Honey Eye Bee Leave Ewe” is the first single off of their newest EP FOOTBALL which dropped earlier this month.
You can stream the full EP on their bandcamp page and then purchase it for a pay what you want price.
